John qualified at Sydney University as a Pharmacist, Accountant and Economist. After being awarded his degrees he worked for a major Global Pharmaceutical Company for nine years in senior sales and marketing roles in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia.
John’s passion for travel began almost thirty years ago when, on returning to Perth, he started Globetrotter Travel which eventually grew into the largest Western Australian Corporate Travel Management company.
His drive to provide a positive and innovative work environment is limitless and staff feed off his love for the travel industry. In the ever changing business environment, John is constantly striving to keep Globetrotter as the industry leader in meeting and exceeding client needs and expectations.
John enjoys spending time on his boat, soaking up the sun in Rottnest with his family and friends and climbing the occasional mountain.

Ilja comes to Globetrotter from a finance and accounting background, with extensive business and management experience.
As Director of Operations, Ilja's primary role is overseeing all aspects of the corporate travel management process and ensuring the client's service levels are being met. In addition he maintains industry relationships and product updates for the whole team, Ilja also oversees the IT department.
When he manages to get time away from the office, Ilja enjoys sports, computing and regular attempts at being the home handyman.

Alison has a dual role which includes responsibility for the integrity of the Globetrotter brand, image, marketing, promotion and external/internal communication as well as managing business development on a national level.
Alison, originally from Scotland with a degree in hotel management, has been in the travel and hospitality industry for over twenty years, specialising in sales and marketing.
Alison enjoys hanging out with her family, reading a good murder mystery, walking and of course, shopping. “I love to travel and will go anywhere that is warm, comfortable with plenty of opportunity to shop! A Caribbean cruise takes a lot of beating!”

Bob is a Chartered Accountant with almost two decades of experience most recently in the travel and tourism sector. His vast experience in finance took him to Queensland, where he worked as Financial Controller Quicksilver Dive Port Douglas.
Bob is responsible for the Group finances overseeing the accounts and administration of Globetrotter Corporate Travel.
In his spare time Bob enjoys roller-skating, surfing, camping, and is a bit of a fitness fanatic

Tania is responsible for developing the culture of Globetrotter and ensuring that the company always maintains the best people for the job. After completing a Bachelor of Arts at UWA Tania embarked on a fleeting career in journalism, her passion for food and travel coupled with an opportunity to manage El Questro Homestead soon lured Tania into the hospitality industry and she hasn't looked back.
“I love to travel to any tropical destination and like to spend my free time entertaining friends and family, going to the beach with my two young children or snuggling up with a good book.”

Andrew is originally from Perth and has been in the travel industry for over a decade, having sparked an interest in travel after spending time overseas.
He is responsible for the effective management of our East Coast operations which include both our Melbourne office and Sydney office. Andrew has extensive experience in the corporate travel field and has worked on several large government accounts. As well as being a fully qualified travel agent, Andrew is skilled at negotiating client deals with suppliers and training our Account Managers on internal procedures.
In his spare time, Andrew likes reading and catching up with friends for long leisurely dinners. His favourite holiday destination would have to be continental Europe for its diverse range of cultures being such a short distance apart from each other.

Murray Skea, originally from Edinburgh, heads up Globetrotter Lifestyle as Manager Groups and Leisure, and is responsible for managing our leisure operations as well as steering the expansion of the group and incentive division. Murray brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge having almost 10 years experience in retail travel both in Australia and overseas.
Globetrotter, predominately known as a Corporate Travel Management Company offer complete travel solutions enveloping corporate, leisure, group and incentive travel.
Murray likes to keep fit playing Rugby for the Wests Subiaco and is a huge supporter of the Western Force and his home team, Scotland. Murray takes the cake when it comes to travel, having travelled extensively throughout Australia, USA, Europe, Africa, New Zealand, Canada and Asia.

Tammy joined Globetrotter Corporate Travel in July 2005 as a Corporate Consultant, but she was quick to impress the company's Leadership Team with her dynamic and proactive approach to the Corporate Travel industry. Now in the role of Operations Manager, Tammy is responsible for the review and implementation of operational policies and procedures to ensure the consistent delivery of high service levels to our clients.
With many years industry experience behind her, Tammy has the skills and more importantly the right attitude to further fuel Globetrotter’s positive direction.

Mario Blasius is a long term employee of Globetrotter Corporate Travel with almost 14 years as a dedicated member of staff. In his role of Business Solutions he is responsible for sourcing new technologies to improve Globetrotter's efficiency and ensure that the needs of our clients are met.
Mario is also a fully accredited Travel Consultant who brings to this position an insight from both points of view. Along with his fund-raising efforts Mario also enjoys watching Rugby Union and is a devout Western Force supporter. Mario also enjoys travelling to exotic destinations and having peace and quiet to enjoy a good book.

Angelina has been working at Globetrotter since 1994, although leaving for 18 months to tackle a logistic job in the Oil and Gas industry. Having returned to GCT Angelina’s time away has allowed her gain an invaluable insight from the other side of the fence, i.e. being the booker rather than the bookee!

Brianna’s role in Reception is pivotal to the smooth operations of Globetrotter Corporate Travel. As the face of the company, Brianna’s main focus is to work collaboratively with all departments ensuring everything is communicated in an effective manner.
Making the move from regional WA to the big city led Brianna to explore different areas including; hospitality, retail and she honed her skills in reception working for a group of Veterinary Hospitals.
Away from the noise of a ringing phone, Brianna enjoys horse riding, tennis, surfing and hitting the town with friends. Being an Aussie girl she also loves nothing better than to enjoy a day at the beach.

Carmen O’Neill joined Globetrotter in May 2007 and uses her background in retail travel consultanting and ticketing to our clients advantage. Quick and savvy Carmen is very attentive and places importance on understanding her clients business and operations.
Globetrotter is the perfect work place for Carmen as she can balance work with other interests in life. She appreciates a good challenge and works cooperatively with her clients for the best possible outcome.
Having grown up in Fremantle Carmen knows what it’s like to be a true West Australian and enjoys the simple pleasures in life, such as going to movies, shopping and of course travelling. Whilst renovating houses keeps her busy she still dreams of going back to her favourite holiday destinations Edinburgh, Barcelona and Langkawi.

Carol joined Globetrotter from the UK where she has worked in the travel industry for over 20 years.
Her previous roles include working at London Heathrow as a Duty Airport Manager for Qantas, being an Airport Manager for a Car Hire company, a Business Manager for a leisure Travel Agency and has worked in various parts of Spain as a Holiday Representative.
Loving the buzz of travel and having experienced many exciting cities including Rome, Venice, Barcelona, Paris, New York and LA along with fantastic holiday destinations in Spain, Greece, Turkey, USA, Mexico and the Caribbean has only made her passion stronger.
Carol has travelled extensively around Australia, then decided to settle in Perth to enjoy the laid-back lifestyle and now enjoys creating exciting itineraries and project managing events all over the world in our Groups and Incentives department -TEN PLUS.

In the role of Groups Coordinator, Emma is responsible looking after every single facet of a group trip. She is proactive in finding the best possible price whilst being very attentive and providing our clients with the customer service they deserve.
Having worked for a large record label in the UK booking travel for staff and artists Emma honed her skills in group and events travel ensuring all the right people were where they were supposed to be at the right time- a hard task.
Her favourite holiday destination is the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia where she has spent many a day sipping cocktails on the beach.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys going to the gym, going out for dinner and drinks and shopping with friends and family.

Fiona is experienced in all facets of travel having worked in several retail and corporate agencies around Australia. Her move into corporate travel has allowed her to extend her excellent customer service and client relation skills to the next level.
Having travelled extensively, Fiona has experienced the delights of travelling throughout Australia, Europe, UK, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. “My favourite destination would have to be the Isle of Capri in Italy, I actually got to swim in the magnificent waters of the Blue Grotto - it was unbelievable!”
Having moved back home to Western Australia from Queensland, Fiona is content to enjoy the relaxed Perth lifestyle. She’s enjoying the simple pleasures in life such as shopping, reading, playing netball, walking her dog, keeping herself fit - and eating chocolate!

Glenys has been in the travel industry for over twenty years and almost half of this time has been spent with Globetrotter. Needless to say, Glenys is an integral part of the Globetrotter team and her expertise and depth of knowledge has made an enormous contribution to the company over the years. Glenys manages several of our key accounts and maintains wonderful working relationships with all of her clients, which is a credit to her both personally and professionally.
In the years before Globetrotter, Glenys operated her own travel agency for a number of years and was employed in the role of Travel Manager for two large travel management companies. Glenys has also worked as a tertiary level instructor in the travel and tourism field, and has been essential in training and developing the skills of new members to the Globetrotter team.
Glenys has travelled extensively and lived in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. She holds a special love for Africa, but these days her little piece of paradise in Mandurah makes do.

Heather’s role at Globetrotter as Accounts Assistant is varied and challenging. Previously Heather worked as an IT Manager for a large hotel chain allowing her to travel extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii.
Having also owned a consulting business to the hospitality industry, Heather’s experience in many different roles gives her a great overview of business as a whole and helps her to carry out her job at Globetrotter professionally and effectively.
An ideal holiday for Heather would be a cruise to the Greek Islands. She enjoys Rockabilly dancing, she loves it so much that she does it 3 to 5 times a week!

Ilda joins Globetrotter with several years experience as a travel consultant and back-up specialist for an international leisure wholesaler. Working on domestic accounts, Ilda uses her travel knowledge and skills to our client’s advantage.
Ilda will always looks for the best possible outcome for her client that is both cost effective and gets the traveller to their final destination in the best possible shape.
She would one day love to travel throughout Europe especially Italy. Outside of work Ilda enjoys spending time with friends and family, eating out, shopping and going to the movies.

After backpacking across New Zealand, The United States, Europe and South East Asia Jane decided to pursue a career in travel and tourism. She finished a Certificate III in International Retail Travel Sales and Ticketing and was welcomed on board as an Account Manager. Jane uses her problem solving skills to the best of her ability, always looking for the best possible outcome for her clients
Her favourite travel experience was camping in Yellow Stone National Park in Wyoming, USA amongst the bears and snow, she wishes her next holiday will be cruising around the Greek Islands.
In her spare time Jane enjoys sunning herself at the beach, swimming, snorkeling and sailing with friends.

Jennifer is originally from Seychelles Island which is located in the Indian Ocean, close to Mauritius and Reunion Island. She has worked in the hotel industry for three years where she gained customer service skills and an insight into the travel industry.
Jennifer is new to the travel industry as is looking forward to learning more about the exciting challenges that lay before her. She’s halfway through Certificate III in International Retail at TAFE and is currently undertaking a traineeship at Globetrotter to complete her studies.

Jodee has 21 years experience in the travel industry and has had various roles and responsibilities throughout her career. Having worked in retail, wholesale, airport check in and even ground handling Jodee uses her knowledge of the travel industry to ensure our leisure clients fulfill their holiday dreams.
Jodee has lived in the far North of Western Australia, the South West and everything in-between giving her plenty of ideas for holidays in Western Australia. Her biggest claim to fame is being in the Australian film ‘Japanese Story’. Do you remember the Qantas Flight Attendant? Well that was our Jodee, keep an eye out for her next time you watch it.
When Jodee’s not making movies she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, playing netball and relaxing.

Linda joined Globetrotter in 2005 and is one of our top leisure consultants. Linda has 20 years experience working in leisure travel and has travelled all over the world. Some of her favourite destinations have been Paris, Barcelona, Venice, Italy, Ibiza, Greece, Mauritius, Seychelles, Barbados, St. Martin and Antiqua. Linda specialises in sunny island holiday destinations in the Indian Ocean and Caribbean regions.
Linda moved to Perth from the UK with her family in 2005. They all love the Perth lifestyle and still get a 'thrill' to be able to pop down to the beach after school for an hour!

Megan started her career in travel as a junior consultant in her hometown of Bunbury where she worked her way up to a Senior Consultant Position. Megans’ travel industry experience is varied and includes retail consultant work as well as specialist experience in the corporate sector working on large academic accounts.
Megan enjoys the diversity of challenge and has spent time expanding her professional abilities in a Public Relations role with the WA State Government. However her passion for travel would not allow her to stay away from the industry for too long.
Megan’s favourite travel destinations are the Gold Coast for its relaxed lifestyle and Hong Kong for the great nightlife and shopping!

Nerella is our Corporate Solution Executive here in Perth. Her position was designed to nurture new customer relationships and find customised travel solutions for our clients. Nerella brings a wealth of knowledge to the position with over 25 years experience in the travel industry where she specialised in working with travel managers within the Western Australian resource industry.
Nerella is well travelled having lived in the USA, Europe and Alaska and she is fluent in Italian. Her friendly disposition and happy nature has made her well respected in the travel industry.
Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking up a storm and spending time in the garden. A devoted Aunt to her six nephews she always makes time to enjoy their weekly sporting activities.

Melissa started in the travel industry straight after completing her studies at TAFE and is experienced in both corporate and retail travel. She has worked for both Global TMC’s and smaller boutique agencies and much prefers working in a corporate environment.
Melissa has received many accolades from clients and colleagues alike and was selected as a finalist in the Travel Agents Avis Scholarship, not once but twice during her career.
“My favourite holiday destination can’t be decided - I love to travel and I’m planning to do my 2nd around the world trip soon, I do around the worlds because I can’t decide on one favourite place.” Melissa also enjoys scrap booking and yes folks, we have another chocolate lover…

Olivia joined Globetrotter all the way from New Zealand after completing her studies at Sir George Seymour College of Travel and Tourism. Finishing her studies in December 2006, Olivia decided to make the move to Perth and is already embracing the Australian lifestyle.
Olivia’s interest in travel is what bought her to Australia and she's eager to explore our great brown land and other international destinations. In the position of Account Manager, Olivia provides exceptional customer service to our clients with domestic travel needs.
Representing New Zealand in lawn bowls, Olivia would love the opportunity to play a game in Australia, if she’s good enough we may claim her as our own.

After having spent five years travelling on a working holiday throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, USA and Canada, Robert returned to Perth inspired to find work that he was truly excited about.
The realisation that the travel industry would provide that was immediate and Rob has continued to remain in the same industry for over a decade. In that time he’s continued to combine his two favourite pastimes, food and exploring the world.
Roberts passion for travel has taken him far and wide throughout South East Asia, the Subcontinent, parts of the Middle East and South America. His ultimate destination is too difficult to pick but his two favourite adventures have been cycling across the Tibetan Himalaya and a month long honeymoon in the Greek Islands.

Rose Stout is our Manager Client Relations and has the role of ensuring Globetrotters clients are well looked after and is the central point of contact for our growing national client base.
Rose brings a wealth of knowledge to the position having some 25 years experience in the travel and tourism industry.
On and off for the past four years, Rose has been a driver for a small tour company, driving groups of ladies throughout Tuscany and the South of France, as well as accompanying them on walking tours of Paris, Rome and the walking trails of the Cinque Terre.“This is one of my greatest passions, bringing together my love of being with people, travelling, food (cooking), walking and of course, checking out the shopping facilities in these countries!”
“When at home, I love being involved with my family and friends, renovating houses and just being company to my dear old cat (or vice versa)!”

Samuel Halse joins Globetrotter with extensive experience in the travel industry gained both here in Australia and overseas. He is very familiar with travel booking procedures having worked for a large retail agency in many roles from consultant, to team leader and eventually Business Manager.
With a degree in Commerce, Samuel has a great understanding of how business works and uses his travel knowledge to ensure that our clients travel program runs smoothly. A skilled negotiator, Samuel will always look for time and cost saving benefits for our clients.
Outside of work Samuel is a keen sportsman but still finds time to enjoy a glass of wine whilst listening to his favourite jazz tune.

Sarah-Jayne joined Globetrotter in April 2007 and enjoys the challenge and excitement that the travel industry provides. She has a background in sales and marketing within the hotel industry and brings with her a wealth of knowledge. She has the task of managing the website, organising events, business development and executing internal and external communication as well as many other sales and marketing initiatives.
Sarah-Jayne’s favorite holiday destination is our own ‘Sun burnt country’-Australia. Her best experience so far was snorkeling in Coral Bay surrounded by spangled emperors and she would one day love to drive from coast to coast, stopping along the way of course.
In her spare time she enjoys shopping (what girl doesn’t), spending time with her family and friends and having a good time.

In the position of Accounts Assistant Shane plays an important role in assisting the Finance Department to manage debtors and reporting. As if a BA(Hons) degree from UWA wasn't enough, Shane is also working towards a law degree on a part-time basis.
Besides number crunching, Shane’s other passion is travel and he is certainly working in the right environment to learn more. He has spent a couple of years overseas exploring the world and working at the same time. In fact, he’s already planning his next trip to South America.
In his spare time he enjoys music, movies and trying to stay fit.

Vito has extensive experience in travel having worked in wholesale for six years with his most previous role in travel-insurance where he specialised in 24/7 emergency assist helping clients who need assistance and advice whilst travelling.
Vito is from an Italian background but grew up in Switzerland giving him the opportunity to pick up many languages including German, French, Italian and of course English. He is well travelled having experienced Europe and many Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Travel is not just a job for Vito, it’s his hobby and that’s why he enjoys work so much. He still has a very long list of places he would like to visit which is getting bigger by the day.

Alyssa has worked in many facets of travel including inbound, airline, corporate and retail. Having worked in the UK for almost 3 years Alyssa is very familiar with the UK and European travel industry.
She was even lucky enough to work as a tour guide whilst living in London taking weekend trips to Paris and Edinburgh and taking groups to Spain for the famous ‘Running of the bulls’.
She has travelled through more than 40 countries with some of her favourite destinations being Berlin, Slovenia and the Croatian Islands. In her spare time Alyssa enjoys diving and playing touch rugby.

Angela Barun, originally from England and has lived in Australia for the best part of two decades. Angela is unique in the fact that she is one third of a set of triplets with her two siblings being boys.
Angela gained experience as a Retail Travel Consultant and then made the move into Corporate Travel. Working on many large accounts both as a consultant and a supervisor, Angela was a perfect fit for Globetrotter and has been with us for almost two years.
Based as an implant in Melbourne, Angela is an important team member and is supported by our Melbourne office.
Her favourite holiday destination is South Africa. “The scenery is fantastic and the wildlife amazing, I can’t wait to go back.” Besides dreaming of her next trip to Africa Angela loves playing tennis, going to the beach and spending time with her family and partner.

Originally from Nelson the ‘Sunshine Capital of New Zealand’, Ashleigh studied travel at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology. Having had extensive experience in customer service roles Ashleigh uses these skills to maintain great working relationships with her clients.
Ashleigh has a passion for travel which has taken her to many international destinations throughout Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom and closer to home, Australia and New Zealand. Ashleigh comments about her first trip to Europe “After saving for such a long time, tears welled in my eyes when I first saw the Eiffel Tower; it was great to see such an Icon up close.”
Being new to Australia Ashleigh enjoys exploring the WA coast line, be it snorkeling or swimming. She also loves researching her next trip away and looks forward to creating some memorable holiday experiences in Western Australia.

Brad recently joined the Globetrotter team in Melbourne, bringing with him five years of experience in the travel industry. Brad has wide industry experience and has worked in conjunction with International Exchange Programs flying applicants on work and study programs to the USA, Canada, and the UK.
After completing his Bachelor of Education degree at Melbourne University, Brad spent a year in year Japan teaching English and enjoyed the experience so much that it led him to pursue a career in the travel industry. Outside the office Brad’s interests are many, including AFL, music, movies, Japanese culture, and travel writing.

Based in our Melbourne office, Fiona's role is to find solutions for potential clients whilst adding value to their travel program. Fiona has first hand knowledge of the travel industry as she started her career as a corporate consultant in South Africa. Fiona then made the move to a major airline in the role of Customer Service Agent before returning home to Australia. Her most recent roles have been with a major hotel chain and CRS provider in Australia where she focused on new business opportunities.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling (of course), reading books and being a “mum" to Jasper the cat and Lady the dog.

Lucille is the most recent member of our East Coast team and has 12 years of travel industry knowledge. With experience in both retail and corporate travel Lucille compliments our Melbourne team nicely.
“I love to travel of course; my favourite places are New York, followed closely by Venice and the Fijian Islands. The hustle and bustle of New York is so exciting, and then at the other end of the scale I enjoy the isolation and culture of Fiji.”
In her free time Lucille enjoys spending time with her children,going to the movies, long walks or bicycle rides and hanging out with her cats.
