Even though our daily operations do not significantly contribute to the creation of harmful greenhouse emissions Globetrotter Corporate Travel is committed to protecting the environment through the implementation of sound environmental practices and policies.

Accountability:

The Globetrotter Board of Management oversees management's role in ensuring our environmental commitment is promoted and maintained in a responsible and sustainable manner.

The Managing Director has overall responsibility for Globetrotter Corporate Travel's environmental policies and performance.

Our Environment Committee manages environmental policy development and ensures that the implementation of its objectives and reporting responsibilities are consistent across all areas.

1. Create a corporate culture in which our people respect the environment, and are willing participants in its protection
2. Operate in total compliance with the environmental laws that apply in the areas that we operate.
3. Ensure that our business activities and operations minimise any negative impacts on the environment
4. Partner with suppliers who have the same commitment to the environment as we do
5. Work with all of our clients and suppliers to assist them in minimising their environmental impact and to address any concerns they may have
6. Continuously improve our environmental performance and standards.

Our Green Committee

Our commitment to the environment has provided an opportunity for environmental minded staff members to come together to form a committee dedicated to protecting the environment.

The newly formed ‘Green committee’ has bought together staff members from all different departments including Robert Bacso from Leisure and Groups, Angelina Stimson from the corporate team, Sarah-Jayne Collins from Sales and Marketing, Karon O’Carroll from Finance and Mario Blasius from the Leadership team.

Together the committee looks forward to bringing some new green initiatives to the table to decrease Globetrotter’s carbon footprint.
