Globetrotter is proud to support the following community projects: Hope For Children
In 2007 Globetrotter made a substantial contribution, which went towards building a playground to bring some happiness into the lives of children with very little. This donation was the result of a combination of donations made by staff out of their own pocket and additional funding from the management team which was matched dollar for dollar. Once a fortnight a Big Issue vendor comes to the Globetrotter premises to sell their magazine to staff. This encourages bonding between staff members and the vendor and makes them feel like a valued member of society. We have welcomed our vendor into the Globetrotter family and will continue to build a relationship with him over time. To find out where you can find the Big Issue around Australia click here |

Hope for Children is a private initiative running a number of multifaceted programs which aim to ensure that orphaned children in Ethiopia have basic services- food, shelter, education and medical care- and that they have someone to care for and support them- to show them that there is hope.
AWC is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation of Australia’s threatened wildlife and ecosystems.
The Big Issue is a fortnightly current affair and entertainment magazine that is sold on the streets of towns and cities throughout Australia by people experiencing homelessness or long-term unemployment. Vendors keep half of the cover price ($5) of every magazine they sell. It is the magazine that helps people help themselves. It is also Australia’s fastest growing magazine with readership now at 153,000 readers.
