Winner BTTB National Travel Supplier of the Year 2008

On May 6 2008 at a gala awards dinner in Sydney attended by the who's who of the travel industry, Globetrotter Corporate Travel was awarded 'BTTB National Travel Service Provider' Award for 2008.

Leading edge travel management suppliers nominated for the award, were then qualified and finalists were voted for by buyers on the BTTB web site.

Winner 2008 Family Business Australia First Generation Award

At a Gala Dinner in Perth on Monday 12 May, Western Australian Minister for Small Business, The Hon. Margaret Quirk MLA, presented Globetrotter Corporate Travel Managing Director, John Battley, with the 2008 Family Business Australia First Generation Award.

FBA is a national, member-based, not-for-profit organisation for family business owners and recognises that family businesses are unique and make a significant contribution to the life, culture and economy of Australia. The Awards Program seeks to celebrate the achievements of Family Business and the contribution to our lives, economy and culture. The Awards are open to all Australian businesses which are substantially owned and operated by a family member or group of families.

Globetrotter will now go into the National FBA Awards which will be announced at the FBA National Conference in Cairns in August.

Finalist AFTA National Travel Industry Awards for Excellence 2008

Globetrotter Corporate Travel is a finalist in the AFTA National Travel Industry Awards for Excellence 2008. We have been nominated in the category of Best Individual Corporate Agency and we’re the only West Australian agency up for this prestigious award.
